I've lodged this domain for me and my relations to use for email and web-page redirection because the more obvious domains were taken. Since Baverstock is an uncommon surname, if you're a Baverstock and want a redirection too, we can probably sort something out. The village Baverstock is in Wiltshire. It's so small that it apparently only has one postcode, which is doubtless why Baverstock is a relatively rare surname. It would be entertaining to know whether any Baverstocks still live in Baverstock. (I know that a coat of arms is properly associated with a lineage, not a surname, but I wanted something to jazz-up the page.) |

Origin: English Spelling variations include: Baverstocke, Baverstock, Baverstoke, Bayverstock, Beaverstock, and Beaverstocke. First found in Wiltshire where the family were seated from about the eleventh century. Bearers of the name Baverstock landed in New England in 1720. A leaflet for the millenium celebration of the village of Baverstock (c.1987) traces 'Baverstock' to a Saxon called 'Baber' who kept his cattle (Stock) there. Coat of Arms: Blue with a gold fretwork design and at the top a gold chief with three (fess vair?) lozenges. |
I did a quick Google search for Baverstock-related sites. I haven't linked to obvious domains (Baverstock.org .co.uk, .me.uk, etc) which haven't been developed as sites.
